Light a Candle
We remember Suzanne of Fort Lauderdale and Minneapolis. Preceded in death by mother Judy Beggs Wilson and father David Wilson (Joanna) and Beggs and Wilson aunts and uncles. Survived by husband Paul Bruning, stepbrothers Tim, Tom, and John Wilson, aunt Jane Bauman, uncle Rick (Marie) Wilson; others of the extended Beggs, Blakeman, Wilson, and Bruning families; and many dear friends, both lifelong and new. After earning a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from Mankato State University, Suzanne worked first as a social worker and then shared her expertise as a policy specialist, trainer, and administrator for nearly a decade at the MN Dept. of Human Services. While in Minneapolis, Mt. Olivet Lutheran was her church home. She recently found her joys in long walks on the beach with her dogs Pearl, Savannah, and George, golfing, connecting with family and friends, and looking to a bright future ahead. She will be deeply missed. Service to be held at a later date with interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
